Despite the difference of nine goals in the final result, the lions suffered during the match and even went to the interval at a disadvantage (13-14). It was only in the final stretch of the match that the team led by Rui Silva stood out in the scorer, with Francisco Tavares (8 goals) standing out as the most effective element in the green and white team.
With this result, Sporting to lead the championship in isolation, with 21 points, three more than FC Porto and Benfica who have less than one game.
