International midfielder Boschilia suffered a serious injury in training on Monday, 26. After undergoing tests, the player was diagnosed with a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, and will undergo surgery.
The case is the third of its kind in the team since the return of football, paralyzed because of the new coronavirus pandemic. Guerrero and Saravia, who were also injured, have already undergone surgery and will only return to the team in 2021.
Coming from a muscle injury, Boschilia, who has a contract until 2022, had returned to training last week, and could be related to the match against Atlético-GO, next Wednesday, 28, in a confrontation valid for the round of 16 of the Cup of Brazil. There is still no forecast on the recovery time.
