Ministry of Health points to 749 new deaths and 27,235 diagnoses of respiratory disease caused by coronavirus in the last 24 hours
Brazil has 151,747 deaths from covid-19 and 5,140,863 cases of the disease

On Wednesday (14), Brazil registered 27,235 new cases of covid-19 and 749 deaths due to respiratory disease caused by the new coronavirus, according to the Ministry of Health.
With the update, the country now accounts for 151,747 deaths by covid-19 5,140,863 cases since the first notification of the disease, recorded at the end of February.

Also according to the official government balance, 4,568,813 people were cured of the covid-19 in Brazil and another 420,303 cases are being monitored. The lethality rate of the disease in Brazil remains at 3%.
Since the start of the pandemic, more than 38 million people have been infected with the disease worldwide. Of the total number of patients, nearly 1.089 million died, according to Johns Hopkins University.
