This Friday, Brazil registered 754 new deaths due to Covid-19, which brings the total number of deaths from the disease in the country to 153,214, according to data from the Ministry of Health.

30,914 new cases of the disease caused by the coronavirus were also reported, with the total of confirmed infections in the country reaching 5,200,300. This is the first time since the last 7 days that more than 30 thousand cases are counted in a single day.

The press consortium formed by Estadão, G1, O Globo, Extra, Folha and UOL raised 716 deaths and 30,574 cases in the last 24 hours with the state health departments. In all, the media reported 153,229 deaths and 5,201,570 infections from the new coronavirus.
