At the end of October 15th, the prizes of the international festivals A-mol, in Kosovo, and Lemari, in Belarus, were announced.
Leonor Vieira won the 1st prize at the prestigious Festival A-mol, in Kosovo, and even received the Special Price. His brother Guilherme Vieira won the international jury with the song ‘Ocean eyes’ and won the 2nd prize, in the age group 7-9 years.
This festival, which took place between the 10th and 15th of October, stands out for bringing together the most beautiful voices from different countries and gathering competitors from various age groups, from 7 to 27 years old.
That same day, the Vieira brothers won the international festival Lemari, in Belarus.
In this, Guilherme Vieira receives the 1st prize, with the song ‘Oh gente da minha Terra’, and Sister Leonor wins the 2nd prize, with the song ‘Chuva’.
This festival took place between the 3rd and 15th of October and had participants from different continents.
Guilherme Vieira and Leonor Vieira, used to stepping on regional and international stages, this year, due to the situation of covid -19, had to participate online but continued to collect prizes.
Guilherme, the youngest, only 9 years old, has already received 8 international awards. The brothers have always won one of the first three places, in the various international festivals, where they represent Madeira and its country.
The brothers Guilherme and Leonor Vieira are students of the Conservatory School of Arts of Madeira, where they study violin and piano. Since very young they were part of the DSEAM Choir participating in various regional and national performances.
