THE D-day vaccination against polio, measles and multivaccination happens on Saturday (17th), in Salvador. In total, 151 immunization points will be distributed in the city.
There will be 138 fixed stations and 13 steering wheels, as well as two drive-thru, at the Fonte Nova Arena and at Atakarejo located in the Fazenda Coutos neighborhood, where it will be possible to access doses without the need to get off the vehicles.
Vaccination points will be distributed among the following neighborhoods:
- Boca do Rio;
- Red River;
- Pau da Lima;
- Historic center;
- Sao Caetano;
- Railway suburb.
Started on October 5, the strategy against childhood paralysis has already immunized just over 3,500 children under 5 years of age. D-Day will be another opportunity for parents to take their children, children and adolescents up to 15 years old, to analyze the vaccination situation and complete the schedules, if necessary.
Among the available vaccines are Hepatitis A, VIP, Meningococcal C and ACWY, rotavirus, HPV, Pneumo 10, yellow fever, chickenpox, pentavalent, tetraviral, adult double, DTP and viral triple.
Young people and adults aged 20 to 49 should also look for immunization points to protect themselves against measles.
