On Thursday, at 8 pm, the balance sheet indicated: 151,779 confirmed deaths, 716 in 24 hours. As a result, the moving average of deaths in Brazil in the last 7 days was 496, a variation of -29% compared to data recorded in 14 days. This is the lowest average recorded since May 7.

In confirmed cases, since the beginning of the pandemic, 5,141,498 Brazilians have had or have the new coronavirus, with 26,675 of these confirmed on the last day. Only one state shows an increase in deaths: Piauí.

Another 19 states have curves that point to falls. Moving averages data are, in general, in decimal numbers and rounded to facilitate data presentation.

  • Up (1 state): PI
  • In stability, that is, the number of deaths did not fall or rise significantly (6 states + the DF): RJ, DF, AC, AL, MA, PB and SE
  • Falling (19 states): PR, RS, SC, ES, MG, SP, GO, MS, MT, AM, AP, PA, RO, RR, TO, BA, CE, PE e RN

This comparison takes into account the average deaths in the last 7 days until the publication of this balance sheet in relation to the average recorded two weeks ago (understand the criteria used by G1 to analyze pandemic trends).
