New map for Warzone?
Treyarch has not yet talked about the changes being made to the Warzone with the imminent arrival of the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, but a trailer appears to have revealed the first image of the new battle royale map.
The map shown in the trailer for Cold War’s new game mode, Fireteam Dirty Bomb, looks very different from the map Warzone players are currently playing. Featuring countless trees and places that look more like Vietnamese scenery. However, it is also possible that this is simply a new location being added to the current Warzone map, albeit with a very different color palette.
With the Fireteam Dirty Bomb game mode supposedly taking place on a part of the Call of Duty: Warzone map, it’s easy to make comparisons with Modern Warfare’s Ground War mode. Ground War also saw sections of Verdansk added as new maps throughout each season of content, a system that is likely to return in Black Ops Cold War to help save resources.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War chega em 13 de novembro para PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One e Xbox Series X.
CoD is more popular with young people today than Fortnite
According to research data, interest in Fortnite has declined in the last year, while interest in Call of Duty: Warzone has grown, making the 2020 title of Activision currently the most popular Battle Royale among young people.
The number of Warzone players has risen from 33% to 62% compared to data collected earlier in the year, while the percentage of Fortnite has dropped from 39% to 37%.
Remember that Fortnite, in addition to being on the market longer, has the advantage of being available for more platforms; the game has versions for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, Android and until recently it also had an iOS version. Call of Duty Warzone, on the other hand, is less than 1 year old and is only available for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Warzone is currently in its sixth season of content, while Fortnite is in the fourth season of its second chapter.
