The state health department announced on Wednesday, the 14th, through the online epidemiological bulletin, that 485 new cases of coronavirus in Mato Grosso do Sul were confirmed. Thus, the total number of confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic is 75,561, a moving average of 362 cases per day.
The Secretary of State for Health pointed out during the live another drop in the contagion rate to 0.95, that is, for every 100 confirmed cases, another 95 may be contaminated.
Among the municipalities with the highest number of new confirmations, Campo Grande appears with 164, Três Lagoas with 39, Dourados with 28 and Corumbá with 26 new cases.
Of the 75,561 confirmed cases, 70,007 are symptom free and have already recovered, corresponding to 95% of confirmed cases, 4,090 are active, and of these 381 are hospitalized.
There were also 15 new deaths, increasing to 1,464 deaths from the disease in Mato Grosso do Sul, with an increase in the moving average from 10 to 11.3 deaths per day. Campo Grande recorded the highest number of deaths – 04. Aparecida do Taboado, Taquarussu, Corumbá, Ladário, Paranaíba, Camapuã, Anastácio, Rio Brilhante, Sidrolândia, Miranda and Ponta Porã each registered one death.
