Brazil should win a new mobile phone operator with national reach in October 2020. This is Contel Telecom, already ready to start activities.
The company is headquartered in the city of Santa Cruz do Sul in the state of Rio Grande do Sul and is configured as a Virtual Mobile Operator (MVNO, in its original acronym in English). This means that it does not have its own network infrastructure and is able to operate with more benefits to customers at a lower cost. In this case, Contel uses TIM services to provide 4G mobile internet and should operate throughout Brazil.
Contel Telecom promises to offer prepaid plans that bring unlimited calling, WhatsApp, SMS and internet, with resources that are accumulated for the next month if not used.
In addition, it ensures that support will resolve consumer technical issues in 5 minutes. Apart from services for individual customers, it will also expand contracts for organizations that want to create their own brand using the Contel chip – like a football team, for example.
