Corinthians makes the last training session before facing Flamengo for the Brazilian; see likely lineup

Corinthians is prepared to face Flamengo, Sunday, at 16h, for the 17th round of the Brazilian Championship. This Saturday morning, coach Vagner Mancini did a tactical activity with the starting lineup, guided the athletes’ positioning and corrected the last details for the weekend’s match. Venezuelan Otero is back, but it is a doubt.

According to information released by the press office of Timão, the players did a tactical activity on the field. THE The technical commission won the reinforcement of the Venezuelan Otero and also of the Colombian Cantillo, who were serving their respective teams in the qualifying games for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The pair normally participated in training at CT Joaquim Grava, but their presence on the field is not confirmed. The casualties are due to the suspended Bruno Méndez, Raul Gustavo and Ramiro, as well as the injured Léo Santos, Danilo Avelar and Jô.

Thus, a possible lineup of Corinthians for the confrontation against Flamengo has Walter (Cássio); Fagner, Marllon, Gil and Lucas Piton; Xavier, Camacho and Éderson; Mateus Vital, Léo Natel (Otero) and Mauro Boselli. The confirmation, however, should only come out moments before the start of the match at Neo Química Arena.

With 18 points won and in 14th place in the table of the Brazilian Championship, Corinthians now led by Vagner Mancini has the possibility to distance himself from the relegation zone. For that, however, he needs a victory against the current Brazilian champion and the Copa Libertadores.
