The city of Guaratuba, on the coast of Paraná, granted access to the municipality’s beaches on weekends.
The decree was published on Friday (16) and became effective this Saturday (17).
Since April, access to the sand strips on weekends was prohibited in the city. In early October, the city government had reopened the waterfront sidewalks.
The municipal secretary of Health of Guaratuba, Gabriel Modesto, said that the recommendation is still to use a mask and to avoid crowding.
“Self-care is important. We have to use the mask, avoid crowding,” he said.
