The pharmaceutical company Moderna Inc announced today that it intends to request by the end of November the emergency use of its vaccine against Covid-19 to the FDA, a US regulator equivalent to Anvisa.

The company also said it should release data from the final testing phase next month.

“I believe that, if we launch the Covid-19 vaccine, 2021 could be the most important turning point in the history of Moderna,” said Stéphane Bancel, CEO of the pharmaceutical company.
