Cruzeiro reported on Sunday that defender Manoel tested positive for Covid-19. The player is already in isolation and has been communicating with the heavenly medical department. The athlete, who has been the celestial captain, is another absentee for Felipão’s debut, next Tuesday, at 21:30, against Operário, for the 17th round of the Brazilian Championship of Series B.

Without Manoel, the commander can use Ramon alongside Cacá. Veteran Leo has been recovering from bone edema in his right knee and was not listed for the last match, against Juventude.

Another option is the young defender Paulo, who recently also contracted Covid-19 in the starred squad.
