After the goalless draw with Juventude at home, Cruzeiro performed again at Toca da Raposa this Saturday morning. The novelty in the work was the presence of half Marquinhos Gabriel, recovered from a sprain in his left ankle.
Marquinhos returned to Cruzeiro after a loan from Athletico-PR and made his debut in the second half of the duel with Avaí. He started well, and the expectation is that he could be available to start in the sequence, but suffered the twist in a training at Toca, being out against Ponte Preta, Cuiabá, Sampaio Corrêa, Oeste and Juventude.
This Saturday, Cruzeiro announced that he was released for physical preparation and has already done field work with the reserves, while the regulars did regenerative work. Matheus Pereira also trained with the group, after fulfilling isolation by Covid-19 infection.

Who will take a long time to return to the team is Henrique, who underwent surgery to correct a meniscus injury in his right knee. The procedure was performed on Friday night by Dr. Sérgio Campolina, a doctor from Cruzeiro. The recovery period was not disclosed, but the midfielder was discharged this Saturday and will start the recovery Monday, at Toca da Raposa.
The midfielder will be in the medical department alongside Cáceres, Léo, Jean, Marco Antônio, Stênio and Iván Angulo. The latter is not yet registered, due to a punishment that Cruzeiro had in FIFA. The debt was paid, and he should get playing conditions in the next few days, as well as midfielders Giovanni Piccolomo and Matheus Índio.
The team returns to training this Sunday morning, still at the Burrow. Monday’s work will be a Curitiba, already under the command of Luiz Felipe Scolari. On Tuesday, the coach will rejoin Cruzeiro, staying on the bench in front of Operário-PR, for the 17th round of Series B.
