Fire captain Daniel Pedersen may make an injury comeback in the elite series settlement against Sandefjord on Sunday.
The Bergen club announces this on its website on Saturday.
Danske Pedersen has lost the last three matches as a result of an injury. Now he is ready for battle.
– I have not known anything about the injury this week, and it looks good considering Sunday. It is Kåre (Ingebrigtsen) who takes out the team, but I feel ready, says the midfielder.
Brann must also manage without vice-captain Kristoffer Barmen against Sandefjord. He incurred his fourth yellow card of the season against Stabæk in the previous series round.
Bergensklubben stands with seven straight games without a win in the Eliteserien and is in place above the relegation line.
– This will be an extremely important match. We have to start winning games, and it starts on Sunday. We have to turn the ship around, and now there is 100 percent focus on collecting points, says Captain Pedersen.
Vegard Forren is also reported to be relevant for the fighting squad on Sunday.
Fire coach Kåre Ingebrigtsen has struggled with a cold this week, but tested negative for the coronavirus. Thus, he can lead the team towards Sandefjord.
