The assembly of the Flamengo team to face São Paulo will go through several issues that should begin to be elucidated this Saturday.
The main one is the presence of Rodrigo Caio, who is recovering from a knee swelling and will be reassessed at Ninho do Urubu to see if he will be able to act. He has already been training with the group and would form the defense with Natan.

Another important issue is in the midfield. Coach Domènec Torrent will be without Willian Arão and Thiago Maia, both suspended, or Diego Ribas, who is recovering from a thigh injury. Thus, the alternatives to play alongside Gerson as a midfielder are two promises from the base: youngsters João Gomes and Daniel Cabral.
A probable Flamengo lineup is as follows: Hugo Souza, Isla, Rodrigo Caio (Gustavo Henrique), Natan and Filipe Luís; Gomes (Daniel Cabral), Gerson, Everton Ribeiro, Vitinho and Bruno Henrique; Pedro.
Gomes returned from the under-20 selection in the last few days. He played in the victory over Junior Barranquilla last week. Daniel, in turn, made his professional debut against Athletico-PR, when he entered the second half. Both know how to play the role of first wheel.
As usual, Dome should only define the team a few hours before the match against São Paulo. He will not be able to count on Gabigol and Arrascaeta, still recovering from injury. Left-back Ramon reinforces the squad after a period with the under-20 team.
Flamengo will face São Paulo this Sunday, at 4 pm (Brasília time), at Maracanã. The match is valid for the 19th round of the Brazilian Championship.
