A few hours ago, we saw renders of the Galaxy S21 and now renders of the Galaxy S21 Ultra have also appeared online. Naturally, the design language is similar on both phones, but what is interesting about the images of the S21 Ultra is that they confirm four cameras on the back.

It’s a good day for anyone looking forward to Samsung’s next FlagShip phone. A few hours ago, we saw renders of the Galaxy S21 and now renders of the Galaxy S21 Ultra have also appeared online. Of course, the design language is similar on both phones, but what’s interesting about the images of the S21 Ultra is that they confirm four cameras at the rear.

We have heard rumors that the S21 Ultra may have two telephoto lenses for various zoom levels, and it appears that this may be the case, at least if these renders are based on true details. Having two telephoto sensors would be a good idea and not just a marketing trick. The periscope zoom lens on the Galaxy S20 Ultra and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra feature 4x and 5x optical zoom, respectively, leaving the 108MP wide-angle camera to handle images taken at up to 3x-4x zoom.

As the high resolution cut to emulate the zoom leaves a lot to be desired in terms of image quality, having a dedicated lens for 3x to 4x magnification is a better solution. And Samsung already has a 3x optical sensor that debuted on the Galaxy S20 FE.

Under development…
