The Health Secretariat of Rio Preto holds this Saturday, 24, the second ‘D-Day’ for vaccination of children and adolescents under 15 years. Children aged 1 to under 5 years must receive the dose of Oral Polio Vaccine (POV), which protects against childhood paralysis. The others must update the vaccination card with the routine doses recommended by SUS.
On Saturday, the vaccination rooms will operate from 8 am to 5 pm. There will be 21 units open for vaccination, in addition to six schools. The locations can be consulted on the website www.riopreto.sp.gov.br/mapavacinas. Those who are unable to take their children on Saturday can attend a vaccination room from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 4:30 pm. The campaign ends on October 30th.
