Second best-selling motorcycle in Brazil for some years, Honda Biz brings news on the 2021 model of the 125 cm³ version. The scooter gained a new pearly brown option, similar to the one used in the PCX 150 DLX scooter in 2017.
The fairings are painted in pearlescent color, while the plastic parts that cover the frame and surround the panel are in coffee color. In finishing, the scooter kept the alloy wheels in black color and with a new design, adopted earlier this year.
The suggested price of the 2021 model, which hits stores in the second half of October, rose to R $ 10,950 – an increase of about 5% compared to Biz 125 2020, previously set at R $ 10,077. Honda also sells a 110 cm³ version of Biz, with more affordable prices, drum brakes, spoked wheels and an analog panel, for R $ 8,476.
Disc brake and digital panel
In the rest, the Biz 125 continues with the equipment that positions it as the most sophisticated version of the scooter. In addition to the alloy wheels, the Biz 125 has a disc brake at the front and a system with combined brake system (CBS).
The fully digital panel is another differential of the 125 cc version compared to Biz 110i. The space under the seat, where a helmet fits, also has a 12V socket to charge the smartphone.
The mechanical part has not changed. The single-cylinder, 125 cc, bi-fuel engine produces 9.2 hp of maximum power at 7,500 rpm and 1.04 kgf.m of torque at 7,500 turns. The four-speed sequential transmission has a semi-automatic clutch, that is, there is no lever, just step on the pedal and change gears. The system, which is easy to operate, is one of the reasons for Honda Biz’s success.
