The actor Jamie Foxx used his Instagram profile to mourn the death of his sister, Deondra, at 36, this Monday, 26.
“My heart is broken into millions of pieces … My beautiful and beloved sister, Deondra, made the transition … I say she made the transition because she will always be alive … Everyone who knows my sister knows that she was a bright light, “he said.
Then, he continued: “I can’t say how many parties at home she went to the dance floor and stole the scene … Well, now I know she is in heaven, dancing with her wings”.
Jamie Foxx also highlighted the fact that his sister was an ambassador for the Global Down Syndrome Foundation, an institution that aims to improve the quality of life of people with Down syndrome. In November 2019, the two gave an interview together talking about their performance (watch below).
“Deondra, you left a void in my heart. But I will fill you with all the memories you gave me,” continued the actor, who stressed the difficult time spent by the family and asked for prayers.
