One of those confirmed with Covid-19 was the Harris’ communications director, Liz Allen. The other infected aide did not have his identity disclosed. The candidate’s last test, done on Wednesday (14), showed negative for the presence of the virus.

Harris was scheduled to travel this Thursday to North Carolina to attend an event that wants to encourage voters to vote early in this year’s election.

According to the Democratic Party’s campaign organization, Biden had no contact with either of the two advisers. He, who is 77 and is part of the group at risk for the disease, was with Harris on campaign in Arizona, for hours, last October 8.

Both Harris and Biden are always seen in public wearing protective masks against Covid-19. The campaign also ensures that the use of masks between the two happens even in private environments. Both Biden and Harris are tested periodically for coronavirus.
