Kawasaki Z650 2021 arrives in stores renewed; prices start from R $ 37,490

Kawasaki has just announced in Brazil the launch of the Z2150 2021 line with a series of novelties. As the brand explains, naked has updates on the design, new standard equipment and will actually arrive in stores next November. Prices start at R $ 37,490 for the colors Metallic Spark Black / Metallic Flat Spark Black and R $ 37,990 for Candy Lime Green / Metallic Spark Black.

Visually, the Z650 gained a more aggressive footprint thanks to the new headlight design, which occupies a larger area at the front and has LED lighting. In addition, the refurbished fuel tank is now narrower in shape, in order to favor the position of the pilot’s legs. The seat also changed and got thicker foam – now it’s 5 mm more in the center and 10 mm on the sides.

Naked also has a TFT panel with a 4.3-inch screen and integration with the Kawasaki Rideology application, which allows viewing information related to oil consumption and temperature, among others. The panel also includes a speedometer and digital rev counter, gear indicator, shift light, fuel level, instantaneous consumption, autonomy forecast, average speed, oil change reminder and ECO mode indicator.

Mechanically, the highlight is the liquid-cooled 649 cm³ two-cylinder engine. Factory data indicates 68 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 6.7 kgfm of torque at 6,500 turns. The transmission is 6-speed and kept the clutch sliding and assisted.
