Low adherence occurred in all regions of the country, according to the Ministry of Health. national immunization rate in this age group was 13%.

After the end of the national campaign in late October, vaccines will continue to be accessible in Basic Health Units (UBSs). There is a contraindication only for pregnant women and the immunocompromised.

According to the Health Department, vaccination for people aged 20 to 49 is recommended “regardless of how many doses have been recorded in the vaccination booklet”. This is an extra dose to ensure protection against the disease.

“All individuals from 12 months to 29 years of age need to have two doses of the triple viral vaccine, which protects against measles, mumps and rubella. Those from 30 to 59 years old must have at least one dose”, says the Health Department of DF .
