Media: Norwegian gets rid of two Boeing planes


For the first time, Norwegian is getting rid of Boeing Dreamliner aircraft.

According to E24, Norwegian is now returning two leased Dreamliner aircraft to the leasing company AerCap. The industry website Airways Magazine mentions that the company was to get rid of two aircraft through sales to an Italian airline.

Norwegian is in the middle of a deep economic crisis as a result of strict travel restrictions, and has drastically cut its route offer. The Boeing 787-9 aircraft model will now be returned.
