Microsoft has updated the list of launch games for the Xbox Series X / S

The Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S are launched with an extensive game library, thanks to backward compatibility with all of Microsoft’s previous consoles. However, the games that have actually been refurbished and fixed for the new console generation have been unclear, but now Microsoft has taken the magazine by the mouth.

Via their website, the Xbox team announces that 30 games, optimized for the Xbox Series X / S, will be available on launch day – November 10. Here’s the full list, which includes games available via Xbox Game Pass or with free upgrade options from Xbox One via the Smart Delivery service.

Sharp-eyed gaming fans will probably notice that there are no exclusive games from Microsoft or Microsoft-owned studios here. Gears Tactics comes closest, but it came out to PC already in April.

Instead, the list is characterized by games that already exist on other platforms, but which thus receive various visual and performance-based improvements on the Xbox Series X / S. Also Assassin’s Creed Valhalla da, which comes out the same day as Microsoft’s new consoles, but also on most other platforms.

Looking a little further ahead, the Xbox Series X / S version of Destiny 2: Beyond Light awaits on December 8, while the Microsoft-exclusive The Medium will be released on December 10. Next year, there will be optimized versions of Cyberpunk 2077, while the planned flagship Halo Infinite will also appear at some point.
