The letter was sent to the prosecuting authority from NRK, public prosecutor Marit Formo stated when the Oslo District Court was set on Friday morning. She said that the new documents will be added as part of the basis in the case against Laila Anita Bertheussen.
– The letter is in content the same letter that came to Elden. It is postmarked on 31 August, so NRK has probably been sitting on this for a while, Formo told the judges.
It is already known that in the wake of the alleged conditions against Bertheussen in the winter of 2018 and 2019, five other shipments have been sent to the prosecution, the defendant believes is behind as they contain information about the case that only the person or persons behind the threats can know.
The letters were sent to Bertheussen’s defender, John Christian Elden and to two journalists in Dagbladet and NRK. The last of the five arrived at Elden’s office on August 13 this year, just a few weeks before the trial began.
