Have you ever thought about being inside a video game, jumping, hitting blocks and collecting coins like Super Mario? For that dream will come true.
Universal Studios Japan announced on Thursday (8) that it will open the world’s first theme park area based on Nintendo characters and universe.
With opening scheduled for the beginning of 2021, the novelty recreates in the real world scenarios and experiences that until then only existed within the video game through toys, restaurants and stores.
Before the opening of the park, the infamous little Mario will win a coffee with personalized food and products in the Hollywood Area at Universal Studios Japan itself.
Named Mario Cafe & Store, the place, which will include sculptures of Mario and Luigi hats and a luminous ceiling, will receive the public from October 16.

Universal Studios Japan is one of the brand’s four theme parks in the world and is located in Osaka’s Konohana Ward neighborhood, 500 kilometers from Tokyo.
Inaugurated in 2001, the tourist spot receives around 14 million visitors a year who enjoy the attractions installed in its 540 thousand square meters of extension.
