OnePlus 8T camera design has finally been revealed


OnePlus is about to launch a new smartphone to add to its portfolio. THE OnePlus 8T will be officially presented on October 14th.

Like other equipment, this device has also been the target of leaks, but until now little or nothing in concrete has been disclosed. However, the manufacturer of the smartphone cover revealed some important details of the design of this new phone from the Chinese brand.

Initially it was suspected that OnePlus would be preparing two smartphones, the 8T and the 8T Pro. But, in fact, the Chinese brand should only launch one model.

Pete Lau, CEO of the company, said on the social network Weibo that the brand will launch only the OnePlus 8T. And the event will take place on October 14 at 15:00 in China (8:00 in Portugal). In addition, the executive added that this new equipment will not be the successor to the OnePlus 8 Pro, and that whoever wants to have a ‘Pro’ level product, then should choose the OnePlus 8 Pro. The CEO also made it clear that the company it will only launch a high-end product per year.

As for the OnePlus 8T, some details from unofficial sources have already been revealed. The price, for example, was one of the information disclosed, and for Europe the 799 euros are indicated in the 8GB / 128GB version and 899 euros in the 12GB / 256GB version.

OnePlus 8T camera design revealed

Case-Mate, maker of the cover for the next OnePlus smartphone, published images of the same cover on its page. Thus, it was possible to know some details, such as the design of the equipment chamber.

According to the images, the OnePlus 8T will have a set of four rear cameras. The main one should be 48 MP or 32 MP, a 16 MP wide angle and 116º capacity, a 5 MP macro and the fourth camera will be a 2 MP depth sensor.

The cover will have the color Soap Bubble and will cost 43.95 euros.

According to rumors, inside there will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with support for 5G technology. The equipment will have a Fluid AMOLED screen of 6.55 inches (1080 x 2400 pixels and 402 ppi) with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

As for the battery, it will have a capacity of 4,500 mAh and will fully charge in just 39 minutes, using OnePlus’ Warp Charge 65 technology.

The OnePlus 8T will also come with the Android 11 operating system.
