Coritiba’s executive football director, Paulo Pelaipe, was admitted today to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital Nossa Senhora das Graças, in Curitiba, with covid-19. THE Twitter found that his health status is stable.
Pelaipe was admitted to the hospital on Monday with mild symptoms of covid-19. In addition to the manager, who has not been to the stadium in the match against Fortaleza last Saturday, Coritiba has two players away because of the new coronavirus, both with confirmed cases after Pelaipe was diagnosed with the disease.
Pelaipe arrived at Coritiba this season after visits to Criciúma, Grêmio, Vasco and Flamengo.
The club informs that it continues to constantly test the athletes, employees and delegation.
THE Coritiba faces Santos tomorrow (17), at the Couto Pereira stadium, at 19h (from Brasília), for the 17th round of the Brazilian Championship.
