Pernambuco registered, this Saturday (17), more 403 cases of Covid-19 and 11 deaths due to the disease. As a result, the state reached a total of 155,923 people infected with the new coronavirus and 8,480 deaths, figures that began to be counted on March 12, at the beginning of the pandemic. Among the new cases registered by the State Department of Health (SES), there are 25 people with Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (Srag) and 378 with mild Covid-19 cases. Altogether, Pernambuco has 26,684 serious cases and 129,239 mild cases of the disease.

Regarding the 11 deaths, four occurred in the last three days, two on Thursday (15) and two on Wednesday (14). The other seven deaths occurred between August 6 and October 11.
“Epidemiological details will be passed on throughout the day by the State Department of Health,” said the state government.
