In the middle of the quarantine, musician Phil Collins found out from a text message, sent by his wife, Orianne Cevey, that she had decided to leave him to live with another man. The couple lived together in a house in Miami.
Collins received the message from his ex-wife in July. On August 2, she married amateur guitarist Thomas Bates in Las Vegas, according to details of the divorce proceedings revealed by the tabloid The Sun
in its edition of yesterday (17).
“I found someone and would like to try to see if I can be happy again,” she wrote in the message, citing her new boyfriend only as “Thomas”.
There are stories that Collins ended his second marriage, with Jill Taverman by fax. He never confirmed.
Phil and Orianne have two children and married for the first time in 1999 and divorced in 2008. Despite the separation, the couple returned in 2015, as boyfriends.
The lawsuit released by The Sun points out that Orianne and Thomas are living together in the mansion valued at R $ 218 million. The singer in the process asked the judge in the case to give an order to accuse them of breaking and entering and that the couple’s four security guards should leave the property.
Phil Collins also asks that the police be able to arrest them if they do not accept the eventual eviction court order.
