Police arrest 2nd suspect of having contact with Nice terrorist – 10/30/2020

French police today arrested a second man suspected of keeping in touch with Tunisian Brahim Aouissaoui, the perpetrator of the attack on a church in the city of Nice.

According to Europe 1 radio, citing judicial sources, the suspect was arrested as a result of an anti-terrorism investigation by the French authorities.

The investigation reveals that the man had come into contact with the Tunisian after he arrived in Europe via the Italian island of Lampedusa.

Yesterday (29), a 47-year-old man was also arrested for allegedly having a connection with Aouissaoui, a 21-year-old who killed three people, including a Brazilian, in Notre-Dame de Nice Cathedral.
