A BB Security announced on Thursday that its CEO, Bernardo Rothe, has resigned from office, effective from October 20.
In a separate material fact, the Bank of Brazil (BBAS3) announced that its board of directors has elected Rothe as vice president of wholesale business.
A career employee at BB, Rothe was previously vice president of finance and investor relations at BB between 2017 and 2019.
Now he will fill the vacancy left by Walter Malieni, who died in August.
BB Seguridade, BB’s insurance and private pension arm, also informed that the name of the new president will be announced “as soon as all procedures are completed”.
