Distributed free of charge since the end of September, Rocket League launched a special event this weekend to celebrate Pelé’s 80th birthday. The King of football received a skin, wheel and banner for the player’s gamertag. In addition, the game that simulates football with cars will feature the # TopPeléChallenge competition for the Rocket League community.

The skin of Pelé’s car, called Pelé Octane Decal, has the classic logo of the King giving a bicycle and comes in green, yellow and blue colors with some hexagons. Like the wheel, Pelé Wheels, which complements the very Brazilian look with the number 10.

Next Friday, starting at 12pm, there will be a live broadcast of the Major South America Finals of Rocket League on the e-SporTV channel on YouTube.
To participate in the special competition in honor of the King of football, just record a clip of a sensational move in the Rocket League and post on Twitter, Reddit, or Facebook with the hashtag # TopPeléChallenge. Those chosen will be shown live at the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) X South American Regional Major on October 23.
