The singer is unable to go out to buy food and lives in a remote area of Ireland, without home deliveries.
Sinead O’Connor turned to her Twitter account to reveal that she is struggling painfully against agoraphobia, an anxiety disorder that prevents the singer from leaving the house out of fear. The 53-year-old singer asked fans for help and explained that she doesn’t even have food because she is unable to go shopping.
The Irish singer-songwriter asked fans to bring her food, as she lives in a remote part of Ireland – in Bray, 45 minutes from Dublin -, where no home deliveries are made. “I have been secretly living with a physically paralyzing case, related to a trauma of low acute self-esteem in the past years, months and weeks,” he wrote. “I am starving.”
In another tweet, Sinead O’Connor also asks if anyone knows food services for “people with mental health problems whose self-care capacity is impaired.”
