The emergency services have moved out with smoke divers.
– We have smoke divers in place who are on their way in now, says Hans Erik Tysdal, duty commander in the Fire and Rescue Service at 13.30.
The message about smoke development at Radiumhospitalet in Ullern came at 13.15. In addition to four fire engines, several police units are in place at the hospital.
– There is smoke development in a room that we are checking now, says Tysdal.
According to the police, chemicals are stored in the room.
At 13.40, the police state that a person is slightly injured as a result of smoke injuries.
– No patients have been evacuated. One person has inhaled some smoke. The person in question is taken care of by ambulance personnel. The fire has been extinguished, says Gjermund Stokkli, operations manager in the Oslo police district.
He does not yet know why it started burning.
