A Sony’s new generation console, PlayStation 5, will hit the Portuguese market on the 19th of November but it seems that the Japanese company has no plans to abandon its current console in the near future.
According to a recent interview by CEO da Sony Interactive Entertainment, Jim Ryan, ao site GamesIndustry, the company plans to continue to support PlayStation at least until 2022.
“This PlayStation 5 community will continue to be the vast majority of people with PlayStations. It is crucial that we keep them happy. And the past six months have shown that we managed to do that to a point that we didn’t think possible when we were thinking about the time before Covid-192, afirmou Ryan.
Remember that some of the games released for PlayStation 5 – notably ‘Spider-Man: Miles Morales’ and ‘Horizon: Forbidden West’ – will also arrive on PlayStation 4.
