Arab club proposal would yield more than R $ 40 million to Peixe, but the athlete has no interest in leaving Vila Belmiro
Santos may be close to losing one of their main names: the São Paulo club accepted a proposal from Al-Hilal by Yeferson Soteldo and the only thing that separates the Venezuelan from Saudi Arabia is the player’s will.

The information was first given by the GloboEsporte.com and confirmed by the report. The amounts offered by Al-Hilal are over US $ 7 million (about R $ 40 million), which are important for a team that is experiencing a complicated financial situation and has even been banned from registering new players by FIFA.
The negotiations between Santos and Al-Hilal are already settled. The problem is that Soteldo is still not convinced that the best option for his career is to move to Saudi Arabia.
The forward is happy at Vila Belmiro and is having a good time at Peixe. In 2019, he was one of the main players of the Brasileirão and has been deciding in Libertadores, a competition in which the São Paulo team is already qualified for the round of 16.
Initially, Al-Hilal had offered US $ 6 million (R $ 33 million) to Santos, an offer that was promptly refused by the club. On the occasion, Peixe responded by stating that he would only trade the Venezuelan for at least US $ 7 million (R $ 39 million), the value of the current proposal.
In a troubled financial situation, Peixe needs to negotiate players in order to “breathe”. Recently, he was close to losing defender Lucas Veríssimo to Porto, but the deal ended up not happening.
One factor that may indicate that Soteldo is willing to transfer to Al-Hilal is the fact that the player, in recent days, has started following the club on his official Twitter account.
