US President Donald Trump raised $ 247.8 million in campaign contributions in September.
The sum corresponds to NOK 2.3 billion. It is an increase from August, but still much smaller than what challenger candidate Joe Biden brought in during the same period.
Biden and the Democrats’ national committee DNC collected just over NOK 3.5 billion, and have far more to spend on advertising in the more than two weeks left before the election.
The Trump campaign, the Republican National Committee RNC and several other fundraising committees have just over 2.3 billion in the bank. The Democrats and Biden have just over 4 billion.
