“Luckily he is a strong teenager and showed no symptoms,” Melania said in a statement. She said Barron had tested negative for the virus since then.

Melania Trump said her symptoms were “minimal” and that she hoped to resume her duties as first lady “as soon as possible”.

“I felt aches in my body, a cough, and a headache, and I felt extremely tired most of the time,” she said.

“I chose to take a more natural path in terms of medicine, choosing more vitamins and healthy food,” said Melania Trump.

President Donald Trump spent three nights in a military hospital after announcing on October 2 that he and Melania had tested positive for the virus.
