Vaccination campaigns ‘D-Day’ takes place this Saturday (17)

This Saturday (17th), the D-Day of vaccination campaigns against Polio and Multivaccination takes place across the country. In Betim, the basic health units will be open from 8 am to 5 pm.

Against Polio, children under 5 years of age should be vaccinated. The Multivaccination Program will vaccinate children and adolescents up to 15 years old. Parents or guardians must take the children to their UBSs of reference, with an identification document and the vaccination card.

The choice of holding D-Day on a Saturday aims to facilitate access to care for people who cannot go to health facilities during the week.

National Polio Vaccination Campaign
Must be vaccinated: Children up to 5 years old (4 years, 11 months and 29 days).
Period: 5/10 a 30/10

Multivaccination Campaign
The following must be vaccinated: Children and adolescents up to 15 years old (14 years, 11 months and 29 days).
