The D-Day of vaccination campaigns against polio, measles and multivaccination takes place this Saturday, 17, from 8 am to 5 pm, in Salvador. In total, 151 immunization points will be made available throughout the city, including 138 fixed stations and 13 flyers, in addition to two thru – at Arena Fonte Nova and at Atakarejo de Fazenda Coutos.
Started on October 5, the strategy against childhood paralysis has already immunized just over 3,500 children between one and under five years old. D-Day will be another opportunity for parents to take their children, children and adolescents up to 15 years old, to analyze the vaccination situation and complete the schedules, if necessary.
Among the available vaccines are Hepatitis A, VIP, Meningococcal C and ACWY, rotavirus, HPV, Pneumo 10, yellow fever, chickenpox, pentavalent, tetraviral, adult double, DTP and viral triple. Young people and adults aged 20 to 49 should also look for immunization points to protect themselves against measles.
