Campaign started on the last day 5
Salvador will have D-Day vaccination campaigns against polio, measles and multivaccination this Saturday (17), from 8 am to 5 pm. The Municipal Health Secretariat (SMS) will provide 151 immunization points spread across the city between 138 fixed posts and 13 flyers, in addition to two thru – at Fonte Fonte Arena and Fazenda Coutos Atakarejo – where it will be possible to access doses without the need to get off the vehicles.
Started on the 5th, the strategy against childhood paralysis has already immunized just over 3,500 children between one and under five years old. D-Day will also be another opportunity for parents to take their children, children and adolescents up to 15 years old, to analyze the vaccination situation and complete the schedules, if necessary.
Among the vaccines available are hepatitis A, VIP, Meningococcal C and ACWY, rotavirus, HPV, Pneumo 10, yellow fever, chickenpox, pentavalent, tetraviral, adult double, DTP and viral triple. Young people and adults aged 20 to 49 should also seek out immunization points to protect themselves against measles.
