EThursday, Portugal registers another 46 deaths and 4,410 new cases of Covid-19. According to health authorities, in cumulative terms, the country accounts for 2,740 fatalities and 161,350 infected with the disease caused by the new coronavirus.
Compared to Wednesday, there is a variation of 1.71% in the number of Deaths and 2.81% in the number of cases.
Thursday’s epidemiological bulletin indicates that there are, currently, 67,157 cases active of the disease (1,857 more in 24 hours).
They are boarding schools in hospital wards 2,362 infected (plus 25) and 320 are in intensive care units (minus five).
Portugal today surpassed the ‘barrier’ of 90,000 recovered. 91,453 recovered (2,507 more than yesterday) have been recorded since the first case of Covid-19.
O North today presents 2,580 new cases of SARS–CoV-2 (total of 75,455) and 17 more fatalities in 24 hours (total of 1,223). O Center the country has 509 new cases (in 14,369) and eight more Deaths (total of 341).
Lisbon and Tagus Valley this Thursday another 1,124 infections (64,374 total) and 20 more Deaths (at 1,077). The Alentejo has 87 more cases (total of 3,118) and one death (totals 54).
In turn, the Algarve notifies 97 more cases of the new coronavirus (at 3,129). No variation in the number of fatalities was recorded in the region.
We Azores, health authorities report six more cases of Covid-19 (total of 394) and seven more in Madeira. There was no change in the number of fatalities in the archipelagos.
