After a Sunday off given to the players, Corinthians returned to training this Monday afternoon, at CT Joaquim Grava, and already found themselves in the midst of good news aiming at the duel against Atlético-MG, at 19h (from Brasília) ) on Saturday, at Neo Química Arena, for the 21st round of the Brazilian Championship.
Defender Jemerson and striker Jonathan Cafu, made official as club reinforcements on Friday and Monday, respectively, worked alongside team-mates normally. Both are already regularized and depend on the physical part to debut.
Another good news was the presence of striker Jô during the movement. The player, who was injured last month after suffering a muscular contracture in his right calf, underwent a physical reconditioning process and will be available to Vagner Mancini.
The athletes who played for more than 45 minutes in the last match of Timão, against Atlético-GO, stayed inside the CT performing a regenerative work. The others went to the pitch for training with coach Vagner Mancini.
Taking advantage of the week full of training until the confrontation, Mancini prepared an activity of crosses and submissions. Afterwards, the coach did a tactical work in a reduced field.
The right absences are for the midfielders Cazares, injured, and Otero, conceded to the Venezuelan national team, in addition to the left-back Fábio Santos, who is prevented by a contractual clause to face his former team. The steering wheel Xavier is suspended and closes the list of occasional casualties.
