Among the total diagnosed cases of COVID-19, 1,084,660 people are recovered, 133,766 of whom were hospitalized and discharged. The occupancy rates of ICU beds are 58% in Greater São Paulo and 51.1% in State. The main risk factors associated with mortality are heart disease (59.8% of deaths), diabetes mellitus (43.3%), neurological diseases (10.9%), kidney disease (9.4%), pneumopathy (8.3 %). Other factors identified are obesity (8.2%), immunosuppression (5.5%), asthma (3%), liver disease (2.1%) and hematology (1.7%), Down syndrome (0.4 %), puerperium (0.1%) and pregnancy (0.1%). These risk factors were identified in 33,777 people who died from COVID-19 (80.3%).

Among people who have already had confirmation for the new coronavirus are 576,640 men and 655,229 women. There is no sex information for 6,225 cases. The age group that most concentrates cases is 30 to 39 years old (291,835). The others are: under 10 years old (31,524), 10 to 19 (60,868), 20 to 29 (211,822), 40 to 49 (253,753), 50 to 59 (184,667), 60 to 69 (112,277), 70 to 79 (56,698), 80 to 89 (26,428) and over 90 (7,456). There is no age range for another 706 cases.
