Tocantins accounted for 98 cases of coronavirus this Sunday (22). The epidemiological bulletin released by the State Department of Health (SES) did not bring confirmation of new deaths. With the update, the state added up to 79,514 diagnoses and the number of deaths remains at 1,148.

According to the State Department of Health, 31 cases were recorded in the last 24 hours. The rest are exams collected in previous days and the results were released on Saturday (21).

There have been new records from Covid-19 in 11 cities in the state. Palmas had the highest number of cases, with 40 diagnoses. The city continues to lead the ranking of infected in Tocantins, with 18,659 confirmations and 197 deaths.

Araguaína had another 18 new patients diagnosed. The municipality is the second most affected in the state and has 16,429 diagnoses and 232 deaths.

According to SES, of the total cases, 71,947 are recovered and 6,419 are still active, with monitoring and isolation. Currently, Tocantins has 34 patients admitted to public ICUs and another nine to private intensive care beds.
