The second round of Barezão 2020 ended last weekend. On Saturday (01/25), São Raimundo won over Penarol, by 1 to 0. On the same day, the current Amazonian champion, Manaus FC, showed again his superiority and secured three more points in the table, by winning 2 to 0 of the Fast Club.
On Sunday (01/26), Princesa and Iranduba also faced each other and, by 1 to 0, the manacapuruense team won the victory. Amazonas and Nacional FC, on the other hand, had a very close dispute, which ended in a tie in 2 to 2. With these results, Gavião continues at the top of the table, with six points, followed by Nacional and Amazonas, in 2nd and 3rd places respectively, both with four points, and Penarol, which took the 4th position, with three points.
The duels of the third round will start on Tuesday (01/28), at 8:30 pm, between Fast and São Raimundo, at the Ismael Benigno stadium (Colina). On Wednesday (01/29), teams from the interior play inside their respective homes, with matches between Penarol and Iranduba, at 3:30 pm, at Floro de Mendonça, and at 7:00 pm, between Princesa and Amazonas, at the Gilberto Mestrinho stadium. Finally, a duel of giants: Nacional and Manaus face off on Thursday (01/30), at 8:30 pm, at Colina.
