Coronavirus. Apple closed stores and offices in China


THE Apple decided to close all of its stores and offices in mainland China, a temporary measure taken to combat the spread of coronavirus.

Reuters says that altogether there are 49 stores and offices closed by Apple, a measure that is expected to continue until 9 February. The outbreak of coronavirus is the impacts at prospects of Apple for the first quarter, leading the company to be cautious about targets for this period.

Apple is far from the only technology company to take action in China. It should be recalled that Tesla also saw its Shanghai plant temporarily closed due to the outbreak of coronavirus.
